Obama to GOPers ready to 'impeach' Clinton: 'She hasn't even been elected yet!
November 02, 2016
President Barack Obama today took to task Republicans who already say they're planning to impeach Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton if she wins the election next week.
"She hasn't even been elected yet!" he said at a campaign rally in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The president argued that the impeachment would happen for political reasons, not because Clinton has done anything worthy of removal from office.
"It doesn't even matter what evidence, they'll find something," Obama said. "That's what they're saying."
Obama will be on the campaign trail in support of Clinton for the next week leading up to Election Day on Nov. 8.
Republican nominee Donald Trump said today in Miami that if Clinton were elected, "it would create an unprecedented and protracted constitutional crisis."
Other Republicans like Sen. Ron Johnson and former Rep. Tom Delay have also suggested that Clinton should be impeached immediately after taking office, if she wins.
