Scathing new Trump ad ties Clinton to 'pervert Anthony Weiner

A scathing new Donald Trump campaign ad claims Hillary Clinton is "unfit" to be president because of her ongoing email scandal, tying the FBI's investigation into her private server to "pervert Anthony Weiner," the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The new ad, "Unfit," was released Thursday, just five days before the election. Its title is the same term Clinton has frequently used to describe Trump when referring to the Republican nominee's temperament and rhetoric:

FBI Director James Comey on Friday sent Congress a letter indicating his agency had effectively reopened its case into Clinton's emails. The decision was made after FBI agents discovered new emails while investigating Weiner.

Abedin announced in August her plan to split from her husband and former congressman after it was reported he sent a suggestive image of himself while he was next to the couple's 4-year-old son.

Less than a month later, Weiner found himself in an alleged sexting scandal with an underage girl, which prompted the FBI's involvement.
