President Bush’s daughter Barbara Bush to deliver keynote address at Planned Parenthood fundraiser

Barbara Pierce Bush, one of former President George W. Bush’s daughters, will deliver the keynote address at a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood fundraiser in Texas next week, according to the Texas Tribune.

The Tribune reported that Bush, the CEO and co-founder of Global Health Corps, will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas on Wednesday.

Bush’s support for the affiliate of the nation’s largest abortion provider stands in contrast with the pro-life platform her father took as president.

Bush praised Planned Parenthood as an "exceptional organization" in an interview with the New York Times last year. That interview was conducted alongside Planned Parenthood President and CEO Cecile Richards.
