Late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel sparred with Fox News host Sean Hannity in a brutal Twitter war on Friday. But now, even liberals are upset at Kimmel after he crossed a line in the sand to attack Hannity.
The two spent Friday trading dozens of very harsh barbs on Twitter. It all began when Hannity took issue with comments Kimmel made on his Thursday show where he poked fun of first lady Melania Trump's accent.
During the heated exchange, Hannity gave Kimmel the nickname "Harvey Weinstein Jr," while Kimmel mocked and chided Hannity for being a "clown."
But one specific comment that Kimmel directed toward Hannity has earned the ire of his fellow liberals.
Several times during the exchange, Kimmel made lewd jokes. But one in particular suggested a homosexual relationship between Hannity and President Donald Trump.
Making homosexuality the punchline of a joke is unacceptable and offensive to LGBT people, Kimmel's critics said.
And there it is. Homophobia.

"Haha..is this the part where liberals are OK with sexual orientation jokes as long as it's about conservatives? Funny stuff," another person replied.
"OU THINK YOURE JUST FEUDING HANNITY, CONGRATS PAL YOU JUST ALIENATED YOUR LGBT VIEWERS," added another.
