Bill Burr rips into Jimmy Kimmel and other 'f***ing stupid' liberals for making Trump a martyr: 'He's comin' back, Jimmy!'

Comedian Bill Burr launched into a rant berating "f***ing stupid" liberals for making former President Donald Trump a martyr and ensuring his relevance in politics.

Burr was a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" when he launched into the rant criticizing liberals for helping the former president by angering his base with the numerous indictments made against Trump.

"If you want to see a great case on narcissism ... liberals are so f***ing stupid, the way that they handled Trump," said Burr.

"What do you mean?" asked Kimmel.

"You should shut up! He's a narcissist! Neutral energy!" Burr responded.

"You think he would go away if we stopped," replied Kimmel before being interrupted.

"You know what I think he was, I think he was a one-hit wonder, right, he wrote 'The Twist,'" said Burr, referring to the 60s radio hit by Chubby Checker.

"And then that was it. He was on the casino circuit, and then you idiot liberals wrote him 'Twist Again' when you indicted him!" Burr continued. "And now he's a martyr! He's coming back, Jimmy! He's comin' back! It's gonna be great for comedy!"

Burr went on to opine that he hoped both President Joe Biden and Trump died from natural causes before the election so that someone younger could run in their stead.

"With any luck, they'll both die of natural causes before the election, and maybe you could get somebody that still has something to live for," Burr said to laughter and applause from the audience.

The popular comedian has previously made headlines for brazenly opposing politically correctness. In 2021, he defended actress Gina Carano, who was fired from "The Mandalorian" over her right-wing posts on social media.

"I am a big believer in if you are wrong, and if you feel you’re wrong, you apologize," said Burr on a podcast in 2022. "But I’m not a believer in the mob mentality, and I’m not gonna apologize just cause it’s not worth it. Because then all I do is give that strength that it’s okay to do that and then some other comic’s going to have to deal with it."
