Naturally, Mother's Day in 2019 is no less subject to wokeness assaults from corporate pandermerica than any other day of the year, so in a sense it should be no surprise that a company would do something off-key and inexplicable to "celebrate" the day.
But even so, Nabisco's Chips Ahoy! brand caught some people by surprise when they chose to send their message to moms by way of reality TV contestant Jose Cancel, who goes by the stage names Vanessa Vanjie Mateoz or Miss Vanjie, in an in-your-face video explaining how you don't have to be a mom to be a mom or something
That's really what happened. Watch:
"What's a sweet gesture for you to do to your momma? Your real momma, your drag momma, whichever momma, somebody, whoever take care of you, whoever you feel or consider your momma, it's their day today," said Miss Vanjie, in pure SJW form. Which is to say, refusing to recognize that a day can be for a specific person in a specific role, and instead suggesting that anyone is a mom, if they just feel like they are. Or if you feel like they are.
Maybe it's just a guy who dresses up like a woman for TV and cookies. Who knows? What difference does it make?
Sorry, mothers who give birth. Sorry moms and mommas who raise their children, teach them and feed them, clothe them and prepare them for life: It's not your day anymore. It's just whoever or whatever. If it feels good do it!
At least Vanjie managed to squeeze in one thank you to a real mom.
"I am so thankful to have a mother, like mines, who supports me through all my craziness, and loves on me, and buys me Chips Ahoy! cookies," Vanjie said.
Oh right, that brings up the real message and most important point: buy the product! It wouldn't be a proper Social Justice video if there weren't a giant faceless corporation to cynically exploit unreality for cash.
Happy Get Attention on Twitter by Playing in the Woke Olympics Day! We know that's every day nowadays, but that doesn't make it any less special. Or it does. Whatever you feel!
Now, here's how some other people feel.
Cookies! We guess!?
