A man from Kent, Washington, has been arrested for allegedly issuing an "extremely serious" death threat against conservative pundit Ben Shapiro and his family, according to KING-TV.
What are the details?
TMZ initially reported that the FBI, Secret Service, and Kent Police Department were all involved in taking the suspect into custody Wednesday, after Shapiro filed a police report with the Los Angeles Police Department. The joint task force coordinated the 27-year-old man's arrest, which occurred during a traffic stop in his home state.
Shapiro confirmed the story on Twitter, extending his gratitude to the law enforcement agencies for their "quick and hard work."

Further details regarding the alleged threat made by the Washington man are expected Thursday afternoon, when the suspect is scheduled to appear in federal court in Seattle, KCOP-TV reported. The accused is currently being held at the Federal Detention Center SeaTac, charged with making criminal threats.
The Daily Wire editor-in-chief is no stranger to death threats and has made no secret of the fact that he has a
full-time security detail to protect him, his wife, and his daughter.
But Shapiro was able to joke about the situation on Wednesday, tweeting "that TMZ photo with me in the Twins cap is slightly humiliating, however."
