Democrat staffer out of job after gay sex video filmed in Senate hearing room explodes, NBC News blames conservatives

An aide to a Democrat senator no longer has his congressional job after the gay sex video filmed in a Senate hearing room exploded online. Meanwhile, NBC News deflected criticism of Democrats by placing blame on conservatives for the tawdry situation.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski no longer works for the office of Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.).

The office of Sen. Ben Cardin released a two-sentence statement on Saturday regarding the congressional staffer sex scandal: "Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter."

Maese-Czeropski had been working at Cardin's office for more than two years.

On Friday, Maese-Czeropski responded to the allegations with a statement that made it seem as though he was the victim in the situation.

"This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda," Maese-Czeropski said. "While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace."

NBC News attempted to place the blame on conservatives for the progressive staffer of a Democratic senator allegedly having and filming gay sex in a Senate hearing room. Regarding the Democratic congressional staffer having gay sex in a Senate hearing room, NBC News published an article with the headline: "Senate staffer alleged by conservative outlets to have had sex in a hearing room is no longer employed."

The NBC News article was thrashed by online commentators.

TheBlaze columnist Auron MacIntyre: "Conservatives pounce!"

BlazeTV host of "The News & Why It Matters" Sara Gonzales: "ALLEGED?"

Author Michael Malice: "The corporate press is the enemy of the people."

Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell: "It’s conservative news outlets’ fault? Ridiculous headline. NBC News is working for the Democrats."

Media critic Stephen L. Miller: "A person can be caught on video, identified from said video, and NBC News puts the burden of proof on 'conservative media outlets.'"

Journalist Charles C. W. Cooke: "The media cannot escape this formulation. It is constitutionally incapable of seeing what it does, or why."
