Donald Trump Jr accuses Hunter Biden of 'dodging child support' as Biden blames coronavirus for skipping court

Where's Hunter?

Donald Trump Jr. accused Hunter Biden of "dodging child support" on Tuesday in reaction to news that the son of former Vice President Joe Biden blamed coronavirus fears for skipping out on an upcoming child support deposition.

What are the details?

The Daily Caller reported that Biden's attorneys wrote in a court filing, "It is unsafe for the Defendant to travel, as travel restrictions have been implemented both domestically and internationally, particularly on airlines, due to the Coronavirus. Setting aside personal endangerment, Defendant reasonably believes that such travel unnecessarily exposes his wife and unborn child to this virus."

But Biden — who is being sued in Arkansas for support by a former stripper with whom he shares a young child — has made several prior excuses for not showing up and at one point was even threatened with contempt by the judge in the case. Biden has also refused to hand over his financials to the court amid questions over his foreign business deals while his father, who is now running against President Donald Trump, was in office.

Donald Trump Jr. isn't buying the excuses, tweeting Tuesday, "Yea coronavirus...That's it, that's why hes in hiding and refuses to show how much he made from his dad's office. #WheresHunter."

The president's son then asked his 3.5 million Twitter followers, "You guys think the media would let me get away with this bullsh*t if I was dodging child support like Hunter? #WheresHunter."

Anything else?

The #WheresHunter hashtag is a reference to the fact that Hunter Biden has been absent from the campaign trail and the public eye despite Joe Biden claiming last year that his son would be a "visible" part of his campaign. But the younger Biden has fallen under intense scrutiny for serving on the board of Ukrainian gas firm Burisma, which has been the subject of multiple corruption probes.

President Trump has been a fervent critic of the Bidens' links to Ukrainian and Chinese firms, and House Democrats launched a failed impeachment probe against the president over allegations that he withheld aid from Ukraine in exchange for the reopening of an investigation into Hunter Biden's dealings.
