Rob Schneider excoriates Elizabeth Warren over her proposals aimed at stifling free speech

He is not a fan
Comedian and actor Rob Schneider lambasted Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) on Thursday, in response to her new plan aimed at stifling the spread of speech with which she disagrees.
What are the details?
Warren proposed a list of ways she would crack down on the spread of what she deems to be "disinformation" online if she were to become president. The senator — who has famously been caught in a number of mistruths, such as lying about being Native American — even suggests criminal penalties for the dissemination of "false" information to voters.
The Massachusetts Democrat touted her plans on Twitter, leading Schneider to respond, "Thank YOU @ewarren for treating Americans like we are so completely f#cking stupid that we can't think for ourselves. Luckily we have leaders like YOU who can tell us what to believe & how to vote. You are right the stakes are too high to trust people to decide for themselves."
Schneider did not stop with that. A few hours later, the comedian tweeted, "Thank you @ewarren for your censorship & totalitarianism in the guise of democracy! Like YOU, I will ask @google, @Twitter @Facebook & other Tech companies something: IGNORE dictatorial mandates from politicians like YOU who have NO faith in the American people! #FreeSpeech"
Anything else?
Fox News noted that Schneider has spoken out in defense of free speech a number of times in the past. In November, the comedian summed up his views on the topic by tweeting, "Sorry to have to repeat this again: Free Speech is ALL speech. Even the speech that you find repugnant. You are either for ALL of it or...you are for none of it. We don't need people deciding FOR us what to think, see or hear. That's a load of totalitarian crap."
