A new poll pits President Donald Trump against the top Democratic presidential candidates in a hypothetical match up, and the results are startling.
According to the CNN poll, the president would lose to every candidate they polled against, except for one: Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).
The poll said that the president would lose to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) by 44 percent to 50 percent in the hypothetical matchup.
Former Vice President Joe Biden would beat Trump with 51 percent to 45 percent according to the poll.
South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg would beat Trump with 47 percent to 44 percent.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) would beat the president with 49 percent to 45 percent.
Surprisingly, Beto O'Rourke had the largest margin of victory in the poll, with 52 percent to 42 percent with the president.
The only loser in the poll was Sen. Warren, who would lose with 47 percent to the president's 48 percent of support.
Those results reflected poll respondents who were registered to vote.
Despite the relatively poor showing for the president in the hypothetical head-to-head matchups, the CNN poll registered the highest favorability for the president on the economy, with 56 percent approving.
