Budweiser ditches typical Super Bowl commercial in favor of expressing political views
February 01, 2017
Budweiser is ditching their usual dogs and Clydesdale commercial theme for this coming Super Bowl in favor of politics. Mike Opelka wonders what prompted this coincidental commercial which features the co-founder of Budweiser immigrating to the United States from Germany in the 1800's. Mike explains that the company claims it was just a coincidence but still very relevant. Mike doesn't think it was planned as usually these things have been chosen prior for which advertisements they believe will get the most response.
