Listen: The UK is urging the UN to scrap the term 'pregnant women' for 'pregnant people

The United Kingdom is lobbying the United Nations to refrain from using the term "pregnant women" and instead substitute it for "pregnant people" in its proceedings and literature because it "excludes" trans people, who they believe, can also give birth.

"If you've given birth, you're a woman," said Pat. "You're not transgendered. You're a woman."

Pat went on to make the case that anyone who gives birth is a woman until he sees otherwise. Pat said when that day comes, he'll reconsider his verbiage.
