Rapper Boosie Badazz walks out of theater  during 'The Color Purple.' Here's why.

Boosie Badazz is no stranger to controversy.

The rapper has come under fire in recent years for refusing to bow down to the woke mob, and doing so in a robust, honest, and colorfully worded way.

Now, he’s in trouble for a tweet he posted on X, in which he claimed that he walked out of the theater when seeing "The Color Purple" with his children.

In the tweet, he wrote he did so because he had his little girls with him and the film seemed like an LGBTQ+ love story.

“Good acting but whoever wrote the script is pushing the narrative hard!! As a parent I will not let my little girl watch this film,” he continued.

Shemeka Michelle isn’t convinced Boosie’s argument is 100% correct.

“Now, while I don’t like all of the homosexuality that’s being pushed in 2024,” Michelle says, “this is the same storyline that was out in 1985 with the first movie. And thank God it’s not as graphic as the book.”

“The lesbian scene is not new,” she adds.
