President Donald Trump has nominated Christopher Wray as the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Wray was the assistant attorney general under former president George W. Bush.
Former Florida congressman Lt. Col. Allen West visited Dana Loesch on "Dana" today. He said it was likely that opponents of the president will try to find issues with Wray even though he was unanimously confirmed previously.
West believed Wray was a safe pick with a solid law enforcement resume. He said the new nominee has to say, "I am here for one thing, and that's justice. I am not here for anyone's political agenda."
The Lt. Colonel suspected that might upset the Democrats, whom he believes were able to manipulate former director James Comey.
