Chelsea Clinton: Child marriage and climate change and are ‘interconnected’
May 26, 2017
Chelsea Clinton seems to have taken the climate change theory too far by linking it to “child marriage” in a speech for the 2017 CARE National Conference.
"Just listening to the concerns around education and climate change, and women's health, child marriage, access to technology — all of those are of course interconnected," Clinton said. "We have to focus on each of them kind of in their interconnectedness, and also as individual outrages that do demand our attention."
On Friday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” Glenn Beck and the guys tried to take Clinton’s comments piece by piece to puzzle out how they were “interconnected.” What did access to technology have to do with climate change — and why on earth was “child marriage” linked to a warming planet?
“7-year-old children are closer to the asphalt, so they get hotter faster,” Glenn jokingly hypothesized. “Of course they’re interconnected.”
