Years ago, the book “The Coming Insurrection” was written for a small, extreme faction of people in France. Now, the latest French election results show that 40% of voters want politics either on the extreme right or the extreme left.
On “The Glenn Beck Radio Program” on Tuesday, Glenn Beck detailed the dangers of antifa, an extreme anti-fascist and socialist movement that is growing worldwide. People are blaming UC Berkeley students for supposedly starting antifa, but the antifa movement actually began in Germany before World War II.
The Nazis eventually suppressed the movement of communist street fighters who intimidated and fought fascists in Germany, but antifa resurfaced in the 1970s and ‘80s.
“You’re a communist anti-fascist group,” Glenn said definitively of antifa.
While fascism and nationalism are incredibly dangerous, people who throw around the word “fascism” have almost rendered it meaningless.
“The word has lost all meaning. Everything is fascist,” Glenn said. “Are you a conservative? You’re a fascist. You a capitalist? You’re a fascist. Believe in national borders? You’re a fascist. Religious? Clearly, you’re a fascist.”
