Video: Government regulations are making it 'impossible' to help Puerto Rico
September 28, 2017
What’s wrong with this picture?
Glenn Beck wants to help the people of storm-struck Puerto Rico. He has the plane. He has the pilots to fly the plane. And Mercury One (the non-profit humanitarian aid organization founded by Glenn) has staff and supplies all ready to go. However, because of red-tape government regulations, Glenn can't let his own charitable organization use his own aircraft.
Whaaat?
If you’re thinking, ‘Well that’s just typical,’ we couldn't agree more.
“This is the quintessential, ‘How the government screws things up,” said Glenn on today’s show. “Isn’t this the problem? They’ve made it impossible for people to help.”
Watch this video clip and let us know what you think.
