Did you know that the U.S. has troops stationed in Niger? With all the other distractions going on in the world, it’s hard to keep up with the stories that matter.
A team of Green Berets came under fire last week, the incident leaving four soldiers dead and two wounded after what should have been a routine reconnaissance mission. The Pentagon is investigating the attack as well as why the troops were deployed to a hostile area without sufficient intelligence about the risk and without nearby medical resources.
Glenn wondered on this morning’s show why we aren’t talking much about the four U.S. soldiers we lost. Why isn’t this a bigger story? Are we just flooded with too much information and outrage?
“I think we are suffering from content inflation, a fire hydrant of so much useless information and juvenile bickering,” Glenn said.
