Watch: March for Science attendees are asked for their solutions to climate change
April 26, 2017
TheBlaze's Doc Thompson stopped by the March for Science this past Earth Day in Washington, D.C. Protesters attended because they believe Americans and the current administration aren't listening to scientists about man-made climate change.
Doc asked them what the government and average Americans can do to help. "Tax carbon!" was an immediate response for many attendees, possibly aware of a recent Republican-backed plan to tax fossil-fuel companies in order to mitigate carbon-dioxide emissions.
One gentleman responded, "We can't keep ignoring what smart people say," while a young woman, referring to global warming, answered "believe in it." A couple of attendees squarely blamed the Pentagon, leading one to wonder if its carbon footprint is, well, pentagonal.
