U.S. Representatives John Lewis, D-Ga., and Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., refused to attend the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum’s grand opening in because of President Trump’s presence.
The black leaders boycotted the eventand encouraged others not to visit the museum until “after President Trump departs.”
