On her first day as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, newly elected Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (Mich.) made headlines with a profanity-punctuated rant about impeaching President Donald Trump.
"People love you and you win," Tlaib gushed to a a cheering crowd Thursday night. "And when your son looks at you and says, 'Momma, look you won. Bullies don't win.' And I said, 'Baby, they don't, because we're gonna go in there and we're gonna impeach the motherf***er.'"
Tlaib also penned an op-ed for the Detroit Free Press and called for impeachment proceedings against President Trump.
One of the first two Muslim women to be elected to Congress, Tlaib openly supports the "one-state solution" or the elimination of Israel as a nation, and endorses the anti-Israel "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement."
