Jada Pinkett Smith says she 'never wanted' to marry Will in resurfaced video

'I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle'

The Will and Jada Pinkett Smith story just keeps getting weirder. Following the now infamous "slap heard around the world," and Will Smith's subsequent 10-year ban from Academy events, numerous reports causing concern for Will's mental health have emerged.

A video clip from 2018 has now resurfaced showing Jada telling husband Will, daughter Willow, and her mother Adrienne "Gammy" Banfield-Norris that she "never wanted to be married" and that she "cried the whole way down the aisle" at her "horrible" wedding.

"I was under so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young and pregnant and I was just like, I didn't know what to do. But I just knew, I was like I never wanted to be married," Jada said on her her podcast “Red Table Talk.”

"I didn't want a wedding either. I didn't want to get married. And now Gammy done gone to Will, crying about 'I don't want a wedding,' and now I'm being forced to have a wedding," Jada continued, later adding that it was a "horrible" wedding.

"It was horrible. I was so upset that I had to have a wedding," she said. "I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle getting married. I cried the whole way down the aisle."

Asked by Adrienne if he wanted to marry Jada, Will answered, "There wasn't a day in my life that I wanted anything other than being married and having a family."

Another “Red Table Talk" video has also resurfaced showing Jada seemingly filming Will without his consent.

“Don’t just start filming me without asking me,” Will says in the video. "My social media presence is my bread and butter. So you can’t just use me for social media ... don’t just start rolling when I’m standing in my house."

“I'm still dealing with foolishness," Jada responds, before teasing her next podcast episode.
