VIDEO: 20-year-old moved to tears after community center gifts him a car allowing him to start classes at college

'God has supplied his needs!'

A 20-year-old Tennessee student couldn't hold back tears when he found out the community center where he volunteers was giving him a car so that he could start college classes.

Jared was holding off on enrolling because, without a car, he was unable to get to and from school.

But when Angie Odom, the founder and director of the TLC Community Center, a pro-life counseling center and food pantry in Elizabethton, Tennessee, heard that a supporter of the foundation was hoping to give a car away, she immediately thought of Jared. The man's 90-year-old mother had passed away and he was looking to give the car to someone who deserved and needed it, Odom said.

In a Facebook post, Odom recalled how Jared has volunteered at the center for years, always with a smile and never complaining. He got to and from the center and a job by riding his bike, regardless of the weather.

"God provide[d] just what we knew he needed. God honors and blesses hard work!" She added in the heartwarming post.

Jared reportedly "cried for over 35 minutes" when he found out about the gift, and then was moved to tears again when he started up the engine and sat in the driver's seat.

In an update, Odom reported that another TLC Community Center supporter pitched in to cover a year's worth of his auto insurance costs.

"God has supplied his needs!" she said.
