"It's very wrong."
There is an obvious joke that you can't escape and that the Detroit News was quick to point out:
Rain, sleet, and snow can't stop postal carriers from completing their rounds -- but the fear of bedbugs has halted mail delivery to a senior citizen high-rise apartment building.
The local ABC affiliate found that this decision, of course, is not popular with the buildings human residents.
Not getting mail can be a problem, especially when many residents are looking for those Social Security checks which arrive around the first of the month.
One additional factor involved -- the carrier who refused to deliver the mail is pregnant and seemed to be concerned over the chemicals being used to de-bug the building.
There is hope. Mail delivery is now said to resume by Friday.
