Political strategist Karl Rove appeared Tuesday evening on Fox News Channel's "Hannity" to discuss primary election returns with host Sean Hannity. In light of tea party favorite Christine O'Donnell's victory over GOP establishment favorite Mike Castle, Rove seemed on edge about O'Donnell's chances in the general election. During the segment, an unnerved Rove repeatedly criticized O'Donnell's "character" and "rectitude" and claimed she had left many questions unanswered in her campaign to date.
Events unfolding tonight at O'Donnell's victory headquarters may shed light on Rove's dampened demeanor. Following O'Donnell's victory speech this evening, a local 9/12 Patriot took to the microphone with a special message for Rove, whom he claimed had tried to recruit tea party support for the "more electable" Castle as early as last December.
