The GOP Mayoral Campaign Song That Will Stick in Your Head All Day

"If you're tired of the politics in Reading, Keith Stamm's the man you'll keep in mind."

There are not many words that can describe what you're about to hear. But it involves catchy guitar strumming, lots of rhyming words, and a heavy dose of country twang. And it's all part of a supposed official campaign push.

Keith Stamm is hoping to become the mayor of Reading, PA. As part of his attempt to get noticed -- and solidify his message -- he's released what WFMZ-TV is describing as an official campaign song. And boy, you won't soon forget it, that's for sure. In fact, you might soon curse Keith Stamm for setting his political message to such a catchy melody.

"If you're tired of the politics in Reading, Keith Stamm's the man you'll keep in mind," goes one of the song's repeated refrains. It continues: "Keith Stamm's the man, Keith Stamm's, Keith Stamm's the man they call him no-scam Stamm."

For your listening pleasure below:

Stamm was formerly the president of the local school board.

"One of the biggest reasons I'm running is that I feel the mayor (Tom McMahon) doesn't have the leadership the city needs at this time in its history to be able to move forward," he told the Reading Eagle.

And I'm betting Stamm has him beat in campaign jingles, too.
