Insanity: Man Sends Obama Death Threat Through White House Web Site

"barely recalled sending the messages"

It's hard to imagine what 27-year-old Michael Bradley was thinking -- or if he was thinking at all -- when he purportedly used a WhiteHouse.gov contact form to send death threats to President Barack Obama.

It was late June when the Secret Service used an IP address to trace the Toledo, Ohio, man's disturbing messages. Aside from calling the leader of the free world a derogatory term, he said that Obama "will be dead" for violating the United States Constitution. The result? Federal agents raided his home. In part of an affidavit that was sworn by Agent Jouis Johns, you can read Bradley's angry words for yourself:

In an interview with the Smoking Gun (TSG), Bradley says he admitted sending the threatening messages when he was questioned by agents. Oddly, he claims he "barely recalled sending the messages" (the quote comes from TSG, not Bradley), but that he does, indeed, oppose Obama's policies.

Apparently, when asked if he saw the messages as a death threat against the president he said, "Yeah technically" and essentially said he wouldn't be surprised if the authorities came back to arrest him at some point. According to TSG:

Investigators believe that Bradley’s all-caps messages were prompted by Obama’s visit in early-June to a Jeep manufacturing plant near the suspect’s home, where he lives with his family. Bradley said he has “been on disability for a long time,” but declined to detail afflictions from which he suffers.

Bizarre to say the least.
