Santorum talks family at Voter Values Summit

Rick Santorum was the first Republican presidential contender to speak at the "Values Voter Summit" in Washington, D.C. He said you can judge the character of a candidate by simply "look[ing] at who they lay down with at night."

Halfway through his speech, Santorum was joined by his wife Karen, their two sons and two of their three daughters on stage while he read an excerpt from Karen's book "Letters to Gabriel." The book is named after their son who died two hours after being born.

The event lasts through Sunday and is hosted by the Family Research Council. Other candidates scheduled to speak are Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Herman Cain and Ron Paul.
