Dutch photographer Claire Felicie captured before, during and after photos of servicemen in the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps in an effort to show the effects of war on their faces.
The photos in Felicie's collection, called "Here are the Young Men (Marked)," were taken between a 2009-2010 deployment to Uruzgan, Afghanistan, according to Lens Culture.
