"And what about this Tebow kid?"
Every since ESPN sacked Hank Williams, Jr. and his "Monday Night Football," the network has attempted to fill the void with some clever openings. Past openers have included Joe Montana and Barry Sanders. So who would ESPN roll out for the final Monday night game of the season? None other than Betty White.
The bit was classic White. It included plenty of one-liners, charm, and even some innuendo.
"[Matt] Ryan's nickname is 'Matty Ice' because he's so cool," she said at one point. "But I prefer 'Matty Steam' because he's so hot."
There was also discussion about what happened when she tried "Tebowing." In fact, the segment even included some dancing:
