I Locked Eyes With Her and She Just Gunned It': Sandusky's Wife Nearly Runs Over News Reporter

"revved her engine at us"

A television news reporter had a frightening moment when she and her photographer were nearly run over by Jerry Sandusky's wife while taping a report in front of the former Penn State coach's house Thursday.

Courtney Brennan of Pittsburgh's WPXI-TV was taping a report about complaints police had received that Sandusky was watching children in a schoolyard from his back porch. Brennan suddenly looked off camera and quickly ducked out of the frame seconds before a car driven by Dottie Sandusky came zooming up the driveway, inches from where Brennan had been standing.

In a radio interview with Pittsburgh’s WKST-FM 96.1, Brennan said Dottie Sandusky actually "revved her engine at us before she came flying up the hill into her driveway.”

Brennan said she and her photographer weren't standing on the Sanduskys' property and weren't blocking the entrance to the driveway. She saw the car out of the corner of her eye and heard an engine revving when "she just came at us."

"I locked eyes with her and she just gunned it," Brennan told WKST.
