Although former New Mexico governor and ex-Republican Gary Johnson is no longer vying for a major party ticket, he is still running for president, and receiving about the same media attention as he did when he hoped to be the GOP pole bearer. The always relaxed, yet ideological confident former governor did an interview with the Business Insider released Tuesday, where the now Libertarian Party presidential candidate gave his opinion through "broad brushstrokes" that most Americans would describe themselves as classically liberal. While still running in a crowded field, Johnson said he feels more fairly treated as a Libertarian candidate than he did as a Republican, and will carry a similar philosophical message as Ron Paul.
