Santorum Speaks on Super Tuesday: 'We're Going to Get at Least a Couple of Gold Medals

Speaking to supporters in Ohio after Super Tuesday victories in Oklahoma and Tennessee, Rick Santorum said, “This was a big night tonight. We’re going to win a few, we’re going to lose a few, but as it looks right now, we’re going to get at least a couple of gold medals.”

He added, “We have one in the West, the Midwest, and the South, and we’re ready to win across this country.”

The GOP presidential hopeful also spoke about his vision for America and said he entered the race “because of … one particular issue that to me breaks the camel’s back with respect to liberty in this country. And that is the issue of Obamacare.”

In speaking about his rival Mitt Romney, Santorum sai, “It’s one thing to defend a mandated top-down government run health care program that you imposed on the people of your state. It’s another thing to recommend and encourage the President of the United States to impose the same thing on the American people. And, it’s another thing yet to go out and tell the American public that you didn’t do it.”
