On Super Tuesday Newt Gingrich urged voters to tweet the hashtag #250gas.
If you visit Newt.org, you're greeted with the message "Help bring gasoline prices down to $2.50." You can click to donate $2.50 (the theoretical cost of a gallon of gas) to Gingrich's campaign.
Go inside and there's a 30-minute video on energy independence and $2.50 gasoline.
And to really drive it home, in Alabama on Wednesday Gingrich challenged President Barack Obama (usually something that happens in a general election rather than the primary, but hey it's Newt) to debate at "any gas station in America."
That's so much gas. And it doesn't look like it's working.
