It was magic when Katie Couric returned to daytime TV Monday to co-host "Good Morning America" but only in the sense that some of the program's audience disappeared.
The "Today" show, as usual, beat GMA in ratings and even worse, GMA had higher Monday ratings the previous two weeks, according to Daily Intel.
Cough.
Ratings from this morning will be interesting. The competing shows pit Couric against Sarah Palin, who co-hosted "Today."
