Kim Kardashian will be a C.A mayor in, like, five years

Kim Kardashian of reality TV fame (which came after sex tape fame) says in a new promotional clip for her sister's show "Khloe and Lamar" that she's planning a run for mayor of Glendale, Calif.

"I decided I'm going to run for the mayor of Glendale. You have to, you know, have full residency of Glendale... But, so, for real... But it's gonna be in like five years for Glendale. So I have to buy a house there. You have to have residency there... Because it's, like, Armenian town."

Don't worry, you don't need that half of your brain that you just lost.

The Los Angeles Times did the responsible thing and asked the Glenale city spokesman Tom Lorenz for comment.

"No. 1, you don't run for mayor in the city of Glendale," Lorenz said. "It is not an elected position in the city. The elected positions are five City Council people, a city clerk and treasurer." ...

“Does the position give you any more power or authority?” Lorenz said of the mayorship. “The answer is no.”

But then there's this guy: "I would support her," Glendale City Councilman Rafi Manoukian told E! News. "I think she would make an excellent mayor."
