Watch This Homemade Rocket Blast Dad Off His Feet

It's always nice to see fathers and sons building something together. These two surely are not the first to take on a rocketry project -- although the one they chose to do may be larger than most. They're also certainly not the first to have things deviate from the expected plan.

Although the test of "the ability of the black powder charge to eject the back section of the rocket" didn't work out just right, overall, the test was still successful.

After the explosion and some shout outs to Jesus, two sets of female legs appear (maybe mom and sister) on the scene, yet they keep their distance. We don't know who says "Oh my word" or "Son, I tried to tell you," but it's clear neither were expecting that outcome at all.

We don't know if any serious injuries resulted, but both men were at least talking afterward.

The YouTube user JHBlancs describes himself on his blog "as a rocketeer, a writer, and a man burning for his God." He says, when you "mix this with a father who has something to say about everything [...] you'd understand me." Think this explains the dynamics in the video a little more now?
