POLITICO reports that the "Dine With The Donald" raffle is apparently Republican New York Jets Owner Woody Johnson's retort to George Clooney's big fundraising event earlier this month for the Obama campaign. The winner of the $3 minium buy-in raffle will be granted a dinner with Mitt Romney and Donald Trump that will also include:
• Airport transportation in the Trump vehicle.• Stay at the Trump International Hotel & Tower New York.
• Tour The Celebrity Apprentice Boardroom.
Will this be the next installment in the transition of Donald Trump from possible candidate to legitimate "king maker"? We all remember his ring kissing struggles with some candidates in the GOP primary before eventually endorsing Romney. In a recent interview with News Max, Trump said he's thinking about starting a super PAC of his own.
