Beck's Emotional Reaction to 'Dark Knight' Shooting: 'There Is a Hole in the Soul of America

"He's a monster" and a "terrorist."
Glenn Beck had an emotional reaction to the news of Friday's mass shooting in Aurora, Colo. at the opening of "The Dark Knight Rises," saying there is a "hole in the soul of America."

"Let's be very clear, I don't know if this guy had any political motivation, I do know this: He's a monster," Beck said. "I don't know who will be the first to politicize this, I don't know who will be the first to say it's a problem with guns and on the other side, I don't know who will be the first to say it's a problem with Hollywood. Let me be the first to say there is a hole in the soul of America."

Beck also ended his show by encouraging people to see the movie so as not to let the "terrorists" win, and he reiterated that the suspect in this shooting is, in fact, a "terrorist":
