Former GOP primary candidate Gary Johnson asks you to be Libertarian with him for one election

Former New Mexico Governor and Libertarian Party presidential candidate Gary Johnson, who was also a GOP presidential primary candidate, has released a new ad declaring that he's "the only candidate that agrees with you 100 percent."

The cheery, noticeably well-produced video features Johnson running down a list of issues where a majority of Americans support the same position as the former New Mexico governor.

"Be libertarian with me for one election," asks Johnson towards the video's end. "Live Free."

The closing credits read "participate in your freedom," then display a dollar sign on tempo with the bass drum in the background music, followed by "Fight for it. Donate to it. Try It."

The Boston Globe reports that Johnson has qualified for federal matching funds for his campaign and has received approximately $300,000 in funding so far.
