Rep. Paul Ryan during a speech before members of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) on Friday was booed when he mentioned repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (i.e. "Obamacare").
"The first step to a stronger Medicare," the Wisconsin congressman said, "is to repeal Obamacare."
Boos and cheers followed.
"I had a feeling there'd be mixed reaction, so let me get into it," a smiling Ryan followed up. "It weakens Medicare for today’s seniors and puts it at risk for the next generation."
Final Thought: Although we're fairly certain those were "boos" springing from the crowd, there's a distinct possibility they were actually yelling "Yooooook!"
