Teen Mob Laughs While They Record Vicious Beating of 'Mentally Challenged' Woman: 'Smash That B**tch!

"Their behavior is animalistic to this poor woman." -- District Attorney: My office will seek to prosecute teens as adults. --

Disturbing cell phone video shows a group of teens viciously beating an innocent mentally challenged woman at random in Chester, Pa. In the video, which was later posted on Facebook, the teens can be heard shouting curse words and laughing while they take turns punching the woman.

It was the arrogant act of posting the footage on Facebook that ultimately led to the police getting involved. Investigators say an anonymous Chester resident called the police about the video after seeing it on the popular social networking site, CBS Philadelphia reports.

CBS Philadelphia describes the content of the video:

The video starts as the group of teen girls are walking down Morton Avenue. Several seconds into the video, one of the girls casually walks up to the 48-year-old victim, who was sitting on her front step, and begin to punch and beat the victim.

The attack then leads inside the woman’s home, at which point several other teens join in on the attack.

In the video, it appears the teens are laughing throughout the entire ordeal, but instead of stopping, they complain of how much the woman’s home “stinks.”

Investigators say the attack lasted about 90 seconds. The video then shows the teens running out of the victim’s home.

At one point, it sounds like one of the female teens says, "Smash that b*tch!" while the woman pleads for them to get off of her. Laughing can be heard throughout the video.

The victim, a 48-year-old woman with mental problems, did not call the police after she was assaulted, however, she did go to the hospital to get medical treatment for her injuries. Investigators are currently interviewing her to get more information.

Thanks to the video, police have been able to identify three of the six girls involved in the brutal assault.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan told the Delaware County Daily Times that his office will seek to prosecute the three identified teens as adults, and they will do the same to the others once they are identified.

"Their behavior is animalistic to this poor woman," Whelan said.

Under Pennsylvania state law, the district attorney explained, a suspect must be 15 years of age or older to be charged as an adult.

"We are going to aggressively prosecute each of them for their callous indifference to this woman, this mentally challenged woman," he told the Daily Times.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Chester Police," CBS Philadelphia reports.
