Romney Just Got Another Endorsement From a Popular Hollywood Actress -- See Which One

"I just think employment is really important right now."

When it comes to Hollywood endorsements, Republicans usually have to take what they can get. The big names generally tend to swing left-of-center, as Tinseltown's elite regularly host fundraisers and head out on the campaign trail in support of Democratic candidates.

This electoral cycle is no different, however it appears that a few, more prevalent actors and performers are stepping up to the plate to endorse GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Clint Eastwood, Stacey Dash, and now -- Lindsay Lohan.

Despite recently getting into an alleged altercation with a Republican congressional staffer, Lohan is anything but turned off by the Grand Old Party's messaging.

While she openly supported President Barack Obama in 2008, Lohan is changing teams. At the center of her decision to select the Republican nominee over the Democratic incumbent? Unemployment.

"I just think employment is really important right now," the troubled star told E!, while at Mr. Pink's Ginseng Drink event in Beverly Hills, California, on Thursday. "So, as of now, Mitt Romney. As of now."

Last month, during Obama's Democratic National Convention speech, Lohan tweeted the president, about the need to cut taxes for “those that are listed on Forbes as ‘millionaires.’”

“If they are not, you must consider that as well,” Lohan continued in the same social media message.

The message, which was hard to decipher, was subsequently deleted from her feed, although TheBlaze noted that she kept a number of other political tweets up, including one that included a link to contribute to Obama's campaign.

It seems that the starlet's opinions -- at least for now -- have changed. In 2008, Lohan offered to stump for Obama, but the campaign allegedly turned her down. At the time, it was suspected that the actress was in a same-sex relationship, which purportedly led her to make numerous claims against then vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and the Republican Party.
