Need a Post-Thanksgiving Diet? Here's How Jessica Simpson Reportedly Lost 60 Pounds in 4 Months

"I'm just Jessica, trying to eat real food in the real world, and be healthy for my daughter"

One of Hollywood's most well-known celebrities, Jessica Simpson, has made headlines in recent years for her frequent weight fluctuations.  A few years after playing "Daisy Duke," Simpson was ridiculed for an unfortunate wardrobe selection that included "mom jeans" with a leopard-print belt that did little to flatter her figure.

When Simpson became pregnant, the petite star said that at one point she reached a staggering 170 pounds.  Just four months later, though, she's reportedly dropped 60 of them, and TMZ got a hold of her exact diet plan.

Apparently it began with a strict 15-day smoothie diet, phasing in "healthy snacks" and one or two healthy meals per day as it wound down.

When she began eating solid foods, an average weekday would look something like this:

In early September, about mid-way through her transformation, Simpson made this video:

TMZ says they were initially worried the star couldn't pull it off, but her reported $4 million deal with Weight Watchers was probably a good incentive if she needed an extra boost.

"I'm not a supermodel...I'm just Jessica, trying to eat real food in the real world, and be healthy for my daughter," she explained in the Weight Watchers ad.

Of course, another good reason to consider shedding a few Thanksgiving pounds is so you'll have more room to splurge at Christmas.
