For All the Skeeters': White House Releases Photo of Obama Skeet Shooting

In an apparent effort to put the kibosh on the burgeoning "skeeter" movement, the White House released a photo Saturday of President Barack Obama shooting clay pigeons.

"President Barack Obama shoots clay targets on the range at Camp David, Md., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012," reads the caption on the official White House photo.

Obama's remark in an interview last week that "we do skeet shooting all the time" was met with open challenges and skepticism even from the Washington Post's famed fact-checker. TheBlaze's Jon Seidl coined the phrase "skeeter," in line with the "truther," "birther" and other "-er" movements.
