Riders' Reactions on the World's Highest Swing 'SkyScreamer' Is Terrifying -- and Hilarious

"It is way too windy up here."

Swing rides at amusement parks are often thought of as one of the tamer attractions, compared to drop zones and roller coasters. But a new version of the leg-dangling swing ride that launched at a Texas Six Flags this week has even grown men shrieking.

The appropriately named "SkyScreamer" takes riders up 24 stories -- a world record height for a swing ride -- and spins them in a 98-foot circle up to 40 miles per hour.

The host of 94.9 KLTY Family Friendly Morning Show "Cowboy" Chris went for a spin on Thursday before the ride opened to the public Saturday.

"It is way too windy up here," Chris said only half way up the 400-foot tower.

As the ride really gets going Chris' seat companion -- the ride sits two side-by-side -- says "this is not right."

Even though they appear to be having a mix of fun and terror, Chris begs the ride to "please go down."

Watch his hilarious reaction on SkyScreamer:

Even 6-foot-5 Ronnie Price, the CEO of Experience Arlington, took a ride, telling the Star-Telegram he was scared of heights. But the view, which includes Dallas Cowboy's stadium, and thrill from the top helped him so that it "didn’t take me long to lose that feeling."
