The NSA Whistleblower, is he a criminal or someone to be honored?
The man who released the information about the U.S. government's domestic spying program -- 29-year-old Edward Snowden -- was a relative unknown before this past weekend. Snowden's profile dramatically increased following his chilling interview with The Guardian.
As the news broke, many on Twitter opined on Snowden's actions, his motives, and his culpability.
Glenn Beck weighed in.

Blaze Radio host Joe Pags followed, but raised questions about Snowden's choice to run to China.

Financial information website Zero Hedge joined the Twitter storm too.

Almost immediately, a petition to pardon Edward Snowden appeared on the White House web site.

Over the weekend, Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein and Republican Congressman Mike Rogers appeared on ABC's "This Week" to talk about the story. Both Rogers and Feinstein defended the NSA program.
Richard Haas of the Council of Foreign Relations appeared on MSNBC to declare that the NSA's actions were not against the law.
