Lindsey Graham helps introduce 'Protect Fox News From Eric Holder Act

The Justice Department recently revised its guidelines for investigating leaks, specifically so that reporters and media outlets aren't unfairly targeted for their methods of newsgathering. A bipartisan group of senators on Wednesday introduced legislation to cement those guidelines into law.

From ABC News:

“I’ll say this is a ‘Protect Fox News From Eric Holder Act,’” [South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey] Graham joked, referring to the Justice Dept. investigation of Fox News reporter James Rosen.

“When you cover political people, it’s OK if we get upset, but it’s not OK if we use the power of the government unfairly against those who cover us,” Graham said.
