"...M4s, M240s, and M249s - firearms made right here in South Carolina!"
South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley after posting on Facebook about a "great meeting" on education reform efforts, published now viral photos of herself testing out a variety of firearms at a gun manufacturer in the state.

"We enjoyed visiting FN Manufacturing today. Michael and his unit are equipped with M4s, M240s, and M249s - firearms made right here in South Carolina! They employ 500+ people and have been a staple in our state for decades," the post read.
The post refers to Haley's husband, Michael, who is is a member of the National Guard. In January of this year, Michael Haley deployed to Afghanistan for a year.
Since the collage of photos from the Columbia-based FN Manufacturing tour was posted on Haley's Facebook wall Friday, it has gotten more than 250 comments and more than 2,100 likes as of Monday morning and has been shared 620 times.
FN Manufacturing specializes not only in small arms manufacturing but also aerospace and other industries requiring ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This is by no means the first time a South Carolina gun manufacturer has been in the spotlight. Earlier this year, PTR Industries announced it would be leaving Connecticut after gun control legislation was passed in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Last month PTR Industries announced it would relocate to the South Carolina.
